Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
